Inauguration of CoE in IoT and Measurement Science

SISTec Gandhi Nagar and Ratibad Campuses successfully inaugurated the Centre of Excellence in IoT and Measurement Science, supported by Gaia Smart Cities.
The inauguration ceremony was graced by the esteemed presence of the Guest of Honor, Dr. Sumit D. Chowdhury, Founder – Gaia Smart Cities, who visited both campuses to formally inaugurate the Centre of Excellence.
The Centre of Excellence in IoT and Measurement Science aims to foster innovation, enhance technical competencies, and equip students with industry-relevant skills in emerging domains of IoT and smart measurement technologies. This initiative will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between academia and industry while preparing students for future-ready careers.
Workshop on Arduinocraft

SISTec IoT - Centre of Excellence and the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering jointly organized a 3-day workshop on Arduinocraft — Shaping Idea into Digital Reality. The workshop was a vibrant exploration of electronics and creativity, where students from different colleges of Bhopal took part.
Participants immersed themselves in the Arduino world, gaining mastery in board fundamentals, coding, practical projects, and sensor integration. The participants had also been provided with hands-on training, exploring new technology. The workshop ended with the certificate distribution to all the participants along with the Certificates of Merit: Team 1 (Ms. Riya Shrivastava and Mr. Arpit Shrivastava), Team 2 (Mr. Nikhil Vishwakarma and Mr. Nikhlesh Shukla), and Team 3 (Mr. Vikash and Mr. Sundram Jatav), with a cash prize of Rs. 300.
Workshop on PCB Designing and Fabrication using KiCad Software

SISTec Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering and IoT — Center of Excellence jointly organized a three-day workshop on PCB Designing and Fabrication using KiCad Software. The workshop was led by our expert trainer Mr. Rahul Shrivastava and Mr. Gourav Singh (4th year, ECE Dept., Mr. Rajeev Kushwaha (3rd year), and Ms. Rashmi Gour (3rd year)
During the workshop, students were given an introduction to basic PCB technology, electronic components, and software installation. Along with this, they were also engaged in hands-on training to design circuits, and PCB layout using KiCad. The workshop concluded with an insightful interaction with (Principal - SISTec) Dr. D.K. Rajoriya and the distribution of certificates, equipping participants with essential PCB design and fabrication skills.
