National Mathematics Day Celebration

Sagar Group of Institutions-SISTec in association with the National Council for Science and Technology Communication (NCSTC) and the Madhya Pradesh Council of Science and Technology (MPCST) celebrated National Mathematics Day. On Day 1, Dr. Mona Verma (Professor, Motilal Vigyan Mahavidyalaya) delivered an inspiring lecture on Srinivasa Ramanujan’s life and contributions. The day also featured engaging activities like a Math Quiz and Paper Presentations, showcasing students' enthusiasm and knowledge. Day 2 began with an expert talk by Dr. Nikita Agrawal (Professor, IISER) on Patterns in Nature, exploring the connection between mathematics and the natural world. A Poster and Mathematical Model Exhibition followed, highlighting students' creativity and innovation.The SISTec Department of Computer Science & Engineering also conducted a workshop on "MathMagica: Unveiling the wonders of Mathematics" led by Mr. Sachin Jat (Asst. Prof., CE Dept.) adding a technological edge to the event. The event was successfully organized by the collaborative efforts of the Basic Science and Computer Science Departments, celebrating the importance of mathematics in learning and innovation.
