IPR Awareness Program at SISTec Ratibad

The Institutional Innovation Cell of Sagar Group of Institutions - SISTec Ratibad in collaboration with the Kalam Program for IP Literacy and Awareness (KAPILA) & National Intellectual Property Awareness Mission (NIPAM) organized a session on the "IPR Awareness Program".

Mr. Shubhansh Gautam, Examiner of Patents & Designs, Office of Controller General of Patents Designs Trade Marks & Geographic Indications, Mumbai served as the resource person for this session. He discussed the legal protections that exist for creators and owners of original works, such as inventions, literary and artistic creations, and symbols and designs used in commerce.

He further discussed various types of IPRs namely patents, trademarks, copyrights, GI tags and more, by giving appropriate examples and distinctions.
