The Department of Electrical Engineering successfully concluded its 2-day "Future Flight: Drone Design Workshop," sponsored by the IEEE IES MP Chapter and MPCST. The event featured expert speakers, including Mr. Pradeep Namdeo, Air Commodore Rajiv Mittal, and Dr. Celia Shahnaz, who highlighted the vast applications of drone technology. Participants received hands-on training in drone assembly and flight operations from industry expert Mr. Yashraj Sunhare and gained cutting-edge knowledge on wireless energy harvesting from IIT Indore's Dr. Sumit Gautam. The workshop concluded with a valedictory ceremony where Chief Guest Mr. Manmath Kumar Badapanda encouraged future innovation, and certificates were distributed to all participants. This initiative successfully bridged the gap between academia and industry, equipping students with practical skills and inspiring them to pursue careers in this dynamic field.
