“The future depends on what you do today.” considering the importance of career planning, SISTec MBA organized a session on “Career Planning for Success & Developing General Skills required for a Successful Career”. The speaker for the session was Prof. Amarjeet Patpatia ( Dean & Dy. PCO, IBS Mumbai).

Through activity based learning the students were briefed about the importance of self-awareness. They were made to analyze their strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats through an activity. He further emphasized the impact of self-awareness on their respective career planning. The session also helped them to understand the difference between job and career and how they should focus on building a career rather than merely getting a job.

The session turned out to be very fruitful for the students and will definitely help them in planning a successful career ahead.
