Computer Science & Engineering

Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) is an integrated academic program combining the fields of computer engineering and computer science, focusing on the digital electronics domain with added courses in computer architecture, processor design, operating systems, high-performance computing, parallel processing, computer networks and embedded systems.

CSE program at SISTec focus on practical exposure along with technology. Computer Science & Engineering also includes core subjects of computer science such as theory of computation, design and analysis of algorithms, data structures and database systems. Hands on practices on RGPV subjects like Operating System, DBMS, Computer Network, Software Engineering, Cloud Computing and Soft Computing is part of the practical exposure that student receive at Sagar Group of Institutions.

The course program at SISTec works on 4x4 customised study module for better learning where four theory, four practical classes are conducted as opposed to standard two theory, two practical class. As part of its focus on industry requirements the department imparts special sessions on Python, JAVA, Web Designing and Android App Development with live major-minor project making under the able guidance of trained faculties. Electronics and Communications Engineering (ECE) is the engineering stream involved in research, design, development and testing of electronic equipment used in various electric systems. This stream of engineering mainly deals with analog transmissions, basic electronics, microprocessors, digital and analogue communication, integrated circuits, microwave engineering, satellite communications, antennae and wave progressions.

The ECE department at SISTec offers B. Tech and M.Tech course program in Electronics & Communication Engineering with a focus on latest trends and technology training so that our budding engineers can prove outside in the corporate world. The department works with an end focus on reducing industry and institute gap thus special attention is given to subjects like Electronic Devices / Micro Processor / VLSI / TV and Mobile Communications.

PCB Designing, Embedded, VLSI, JAVA, Web Page Designing, IoT, Robotics Design, Industrial VLSI Design and Arduino module are certain extra trainings given to students apart from the regular curriculum. The department also has e-yantra Robotics Lab sponsored by MHRD through the National Mission of Education - ICT in collaboration with IIT Bombay. Construction Technology Management refers to the discipline of overall planning, coordination and control of projects. It is a part of Civil Engineering domain. This course is a combination of Civil Engineering and Construction Management. Construction Technology Management (CTM) is the overall planning, coordination, and control of a project from beginning to completion. This course gives the students scientific principles involved in construction, an understanding of the behaviour of construction materials and the fundamentals of structural mechanics. The course helps students achieve knowledge in decision-making, strategizing, business management, innovation, and technological demands. Advanced lessons in management science, project management and risk analysis help students get the requisite expertise in the field.
