The undergraduate program in Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) has been designed to impart fundamentals of Computer Science & Engineering and to develop skills in students at par with industry. The department has well qualified faculty and is equipped with hi-tech computer labs having latest systems and round the clock internet facility.
Apart from core subjects such as Object Oriented Programming, Data Structures, Computer Architecture, Analysis and Design of Algorithms, Operating Systems, Compiler Design and Software Engineering, the course curriculum imbibes inter disciplinary approach. Subjects such as Microprocessor, Digital Circuits and Systems, Analog and Digital Communication are the integral part of the curriculum. In addition, students also learn several other concepts like Networking, Java, Database Management System, Visualisation and allied Web Technologies which have great practical utility and demand in the industry. The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering was established for imparting state-of-the-art knowledge in Electronics and Communication Engineering and allied areas in the year 2007. Besides under graduate curriculum the department offers M.Tech course in different streams including Digital Communication and VLSI Design.

The curriculum of Information Technology (IT) is disseminated keeping in view its immediate relevance in the social as well as technical world. The program covers a wide range of inter-disciplinary approach including, computer controlled technology, computer networks, web based applications, designing computer systems, embedded systems & information transmission and reception. The aim is to provide IT graduates with the skill sets and knowledge to take up appropriate professional challenges in Information Technology upon graduation and grow into leadership positions or pursue research or graduate studies in this field. Intake of IT Engineering at SISTec is 60 seats. Admission to BE IT engineering course is done through central counselling based on JEE Mains exam or higher secondary school certificate examination (XIIth) Marks.

The M.Tech course on Digital Communication Systems aims at providing in-depth knowledge to students of Electronics and Telecommunication background in various subject of present day interest like Advanced Digital Communication. Modern DSP, Advanced Embedded System, Antenna Theory and Design, Digital Electronics, Error control and coding, Advanced Computer Architecture, along with a course on Linear Algebra and elective courses like CMOS VLSI Design, Wireless & Mobile Network, Advances in VSLI design, Real Time Operating System which the student have option to select various other subjects of their interest.
The aim of the Error Control Coding course is to present the fundamentals of error control coding techniques and develop theoretical and practical skills in the design of error control encoders/decoders.

The M. Tech in VLSI and Embedded Systems is a 2-years Masters Degree Programme for students interested in the current and expanding field of VLSI circuit design, to equip students with detailed knowledge of latest technologies and the skills required to apply this knowledge in the design of VLSI systems. This programme is also to prepare students for leading edge positions in industry in the areas of VLSI and Embedded Systems.

B.Pharm is a 4 years technical course that functions on the guidelines of Pharmacy Council of India besides other academic affiliations. The course comprises the study of subjects like Pharmacognosy (study of the drugs derived from natural sources), Pharmaceutics (study of the methods of formulation of various dosage forms like tablets, capsules, syrups etc.), Pharmacology (study of the effects of drugs on the body) and Medicinal Chemistry (study of the chemical structure and derivatives of drugs). Along with these core subjects some allied subjects like Microbiology, Biochemistry and Pharmaceutical Biotechnology etc. are also studied during the course.
The purpose of the design and conduct of B.Pharm course is to grant the complete knowledge to the student about entire process to develop a drug its required dosage and how to make it available to the patients.
